Heimi and Jiaming

Heimi is a picture book writer and illustrator born in Chaozhou, Guangzhou, and currently based in Beijing. She is the author of The Braids, which earned the 25th Biennial of Illustrations Bratislava (BIB) Golden Apple Prize and the Chen Bochui Children's Literature Award in 2016, among other accolades. In 2018, Heimi released The Pallas's Cat Who Wanted It All, which won the First Prize at the Golden Pinwheel Young Illustrators Competition in 2019. Heimi’s work has been featured in numerous prestigious exhibitions, including the BIB 50th Anniversary Exhibition in Japan, the Bologna Children’s Book Fair, and the Tehran International Book Fair. She has also held solo exhibitions in Beijing and Shanghai.

Jiaming Wang is a picture book writer and print artist, a graduate of the Luxun Academy of Fine Arts. He was awarded the 2017 Kangsong Prints Prize, the First Prize for his Graduation Project at the Luxun Academy of Fine Arts, and the 2018 Eland Group Scholarship. Jiaming has held a solo exhibition showcasing his print works and participated in group exhibitions such as Oscill and INXX.
